SWEET PROGRESS OF 2012

BEEN TOO BUSY BEING BUSY AND MAYBE ALSO PARTYING TO DO ANYTHING AT THE END OF THE YEAR or procrastinating on my responsibilities oops SO HAVE THIS TO START THE NEW YEAR

Note that obviously not all my progress with my art has been posted on the internet.

January: Gifts, Commissions, Legend of Zelda AU, ~lomper GOT ME INTO RATCHET & CLANK >:C Qwarkarious is always my OTP NO REGRETS
February: Lots of studies/sketches taken from life, way too much R&C fan art in my notes (INCLUDING GENDERBENDS)
March: I STARTED MY FIRST ASK BLOG with Qwark 'cause he's just so beautifully expressive and IT WAS A SERIOUS CRIME FOR HIM NOT TO HAVE ONE AAAAHHH also I finished nearly the whole R&C series within three months whoop so yes my mind was consumed
April: All I did was doodle in classes and work on Qwark Blog... so most of everything was either weird monsters or R&C.
May: MORE RATCHET & CLANK and original works. I experimented a bit more with color and composition around this time.
June: SWEET FREE TIME. Basically went crazy and made EVERYTHIIIIIIIING. I even worked on drawing and coloring landscapes. Seriously, I waS ON FIRE
July: More landscapes, worked on original stuff a bit more, and I studied STORYBOARDING so I rewatched a few movies.
August: CLUSTER OF EVERYTHING until I got into a One Piece towards the end
September: Mainly ONE PIEEEEECE and studies
October: Back to classes. Lots of doodles and One Piece fan art. (Specifically Moria BUT THAT'S NO BIG SURPRISE) I also did this thing with my boyfriend where he'd give me a prompt, I'd draw something based off of it, and he'd write a poem to accompany it... BUT I HAVEN'T PUT ANY OF THAT UP ANYWHERE YET. That got me out of my comfort zone a bit more, which was niiiiiice.
November: WHAM BAM HERE COMES WRECK IT RALPH FAN ART~ Mostly King Candy/Turbo stuff, 'cause y'know how much I like my relatively flamboyant crazies. and I took advantage of my benefits to see this movie over and over for free and now everyone thinks I'm a freak HAHAHA
December: STILL NOTHING BUT WRECK IT RALPH FAN ART but less in art in general 'cause there were finals and work and the holidays and sfhkdsghfksd yeah y'get what I'm saying.

ALSO THIS YEAR WAS THE YEAR THAT TUMBLR CONSUMMED MY LIFE

Resolutions
-As much as I love my ask blogs, I shouldn't be thinking that I have to update them, especially since they were just something I started up for fun, and that's all they're going to be. Feeling obligated to do something isn't fun, and just makes me feel like I shouldn't be doing anything else, which... doesn't really help my progress with art. SORRY TO YOU GUYS THAT ENJOY 'EM
-Actually make a schedule, or set a separate space in my room where I have to draw. Working on homework, escaping on tumblr, and trying to work on my art on the same desktop can be difficult, because it's hard to put myself in any specific frame of mind.
-Get more bold with color
-Actually work on animation (ONLY DID A BIT THE PAST COUPLE YEARS)
-Post more sketches and everything up on tumblr
